Ive been thinking lately, about possibly getting a watch in an non traditional dial color (Not black blue or white). My question is what can a green dial go with or should I just keep the green off my wrist and in my wallet
I've noticed that having a dial/bezel color that complements your wardrobe is a plus. A watch with an olive green dial should work for me.
Green. Well it looks nice in pictures and so I once got me one. But I never bonded with it. Blue can work, orange even or brown. Never green for me.
My only fear about greeen is in the picture it just seems "too green" I don't know if that due to lighting or not
Don't know if I've seen a green-dialed watch that I've ever loved, but one option if you're looking to mix it up with some green is to get a dark green strap. A Credor I owned for a bit had one and it looked phenomenal with the silver dial and SS case.
I wonder... is it that contrasting colors orange, blue, black etc are more acceptable? Yellow even? Is it that in nature green is primarily used to blend in... Green is everywhere, we are in it. Please give me some naturally unattainable blue, yellow, orange. So, it is primitive I think. You walk the tundra, jungle, mountains... which colors do you get sick of? And yes the ocean is not blue... That was quite a rant. Just call me primitive.
How about getting a green strap that'll make an existing watch look more green? Wore this today: And since this seems more of a fashion question, I wore a white shirt and sage green jeans with black skate shoes, although I usually where this with khaki jeans and oil rubbed boots. Green on the wrist is more casual than dressy.
