Thoughts on First Vintage IWC

    This is actually my first vintage watch. I posted recently that I was looking for a simple gold IWC dress watch. Here’s what I got. I paid $1k. All edges are still very sharp. Dial is clean. Just need to get it serviced.

    I actually do leatherwork for a hobby so I’m going to make a few straps - first a tan pebbled calf and a chocolate brown gator

    One thing to look out for in these vintage IWC dress watches is a potential re-dial. I think people "print" the logo on these days (I don't know how exactly), making it harder to tell if a redial has been done.
    Your watch looks fine to me (although I am still a novice) and is very fairly priced. Congrats!

    that’s amazing condition for a vintage watch, have you tried different straps with this model?
