My opinion is authentic ... but not appealing.

In any case, welcome to OF. Take some time to introduce yourself, add an avatar, and join the community. It's more fun that way.

Don't be in a rush to be an Omega owner, avoid the dreaded noob tax.

Yeah nothing wrong with that watch and nice it has the full set but if you read around a bit you will see why omegas like that aren’t as collectible. Not putting it down if you already own it, it’s all good

USA delivery of a late 70’s quartz. Heart of the quartz crisis. And let’s be honest slightly tired.

If it speaks to you at a low price go for it. Not particularly valuable or collected.

What do you guys think?
Neat watch;
it's quartz model (battery powered) which has some pluses and minuses.
Quartz watches are good for people who can't be bothered to wind a mechanical watch, and they're more accurate timekeepers, by far.

The quartz mechanism tends to be less intricate and collectors tend to be mostly (nearly all) interested in mechanical (e.g. "manual" or "automatic") watches- so the resale value tends to be poor. Also, they're more difficult to repair (though they will also need less frequent servicing than a mechanical watch)

As people have said- it looks like a mid-late 1970s watch. I'm not sure what the "2011" is supposed to mean.

It means that I am a n00b.

................................. I'm not sure what the "2011" is supposed to mean.

2011 is the country delivery code (for USA) assigned by Omega.
