·Hi Guys,
There's a potentially unique Movado M90 coming up for auction on Nov 10 and would like to get some thoughts as to the originality of the dial and hands. Movado had a lot of unique designs which makes it difficult to pin down a true original watch.
A couple things:
Dial: Logo seems correct but I've never seen green lettering.
Second hand: White squared seconds hand. I've only seen this on sports watches from the 70s and this one is from the 50s.
Running seconds and minute counter hand: Both look to have been trimmed. Possibly trimmed to fit a different watch and then brought to this one?
After typing this out I think I know the conclusion but any input on this or just the Movado market, in general, would be great.
