Thoughts on a Constellation

Hi all

Been keen on one of these for some time and this one is for sale. I have asked for shots of the movement and case back, so let's seeif I can have that.

I think it looks legit on the outside at least. Any thoughts?

i' guessing a non-lumed 14381? I'd like to see a much clearer photo of that case back. I can't really assess the condition of the medallion from that photo. Obvously the dial has some spotting and darkening of the lacquer, but that's pretty common with the 14381 reference (assuming that I've guessed correctly as to the reference). Looks legitimate to me.

@gbesq... it's actually a 2852. Agree it's not mint. Probably have seen some humidity at some point looking at the dial. I am ok with that, but a bit of a shame the case is a bit scratchy. But it is 70 years old so...

BTW that buckle is about a decade later and not meant for a standard strap.

True... was really looking for something more clean than this so not sure I will go for it, but let's see. It was actually serviced in 2023 though... fully documented with pictures so should be fine.

Yea I know the buckle is not genuine to the watch. And... that same ding might bother me as well
