    Hey everyone,

Looking to pick up this watch for my girlfriend as a daily wearer. I'm just not very familiar with these watches.

From what I can tell, it's lost the lume in the hands, but the dial looks clean. I don't believe its a redial. The crystal I believe is not original, but the crown looks original. Hippocampus looks good, and unfortunately the pics were in sunlight, but the case looks honest to me with out much polishing at all. Sorry for the glare on the pics

Would love some thoughts. Price cost is roughly 325 US, which is I think very decent?

    Thanks everyone

    Cheers

Looks to me that the rotor has been chafing on the main plate. Note the scuff marks. Would be a good idea to ask if the issue was resolved during service if the watch has had one recently. Some corrosion on the second sweep, but the dial looks original and the case has never been polished, showing a sharpish bezel and untouched lugs (apart from a few scratches here and there). A reasonable buy if the rotor bearing and post are okay.

The dial looks nice, but the second hand is little distracting to me. If the watch runs well, $350 is reasonable.

I agree, I saw the corrosion as well. The watch runs and was recently serviced, so I'm going to follow up on the rotor issue. Appreciate your feedback, thank you!

Thoughts on the crown?? I assume the crystal is not original.

    Thank you

Do you have any sort of proof for this? IMO, that movement does not look well cared for, and the gasket is clearly way overdue replacing!

Even if the dial looks a somewhat dull on that Seamaster, I like the case style

Here´s mine in rose goldcap. I do think that the markers and hands are in gold, since they are so free from oxide and corrosion

I wouldn't change anything else excep the second hand. Personally the hand really put me off.
