Thoughts on 1665 Rail Dial

Hi, curious on the members' thoughts on this 1665 Mk. 2 'Rail Dial'. The dial looks good to me - nicely aged and checks the boxes in terms of rail dial features. The case looks to be in almost too good condition, suggesting it's been refinished at some point. Hands look like replacements as the patina doesn't match the dial, although I have seen some that have remained this white and are original. Same can be said about the bezel - suggest based on the lack of pearl patina that it's a replacement, but it still look correct.

Any and all thoughts are very gladly welcomed.

Cheers

You have assessed it pretty well I think.

Date wheel color doesn't match the rest of the patina. Without more information, I would stay away. 馃檨

As stated above.
Ok if the price was right.
You'll need to check the inner case back.

IMO is the dial the only good part on that watch. Based on what's shown.

Cased ruined (my opinion). Hands and insert are replacement parts. Bracelet and bezel worn.

I bet it's expensive too.

I would have walked away

I own 2 originals, and compared to the photo:

I would stay away, the overall pack looks too weired..
the dial, that looks legit and grerat, dosn't "match" the complete package IMO. the hands and especially the case....looks strange

Dial looks good to me...Nice patina by the way....

Check serial number to be sure it matches the Rail dial config..馃槈

My 2 cents here,

A.

there are just too many "?" in there ... and it looks like staff from 3 different decades rolled into one ...

iow ... does not tick my mental "looks like a decent and HONEST watch" boxes ...
