    Hello All,
We talk a lot about 145.012 for few days.
So I post this thread to have you opinion about this 145.012-67.
The actual owner send me some pictures, the dial seems very nice, the hands are in good conditions, too much?
The 321 was serviced 3 years ago but no bill because the watchmaker was retired.
The 1039/516 is well present and the watch has its OMEGA Certificate.
As you can see, the Bezel is not a DON and that's why I write this thread indeed.

I can buy this Speed for 5700€, according to you, with the information above, do you think that's a good deal or not?

Add up the value of the parts and you will have the answer.

Quite hard to do for me.
How much for a very clean dial like this one, for an unpolished case and a 1039/516?
I have an idea for the bracelet but the other parts...::confused2::

On these pics, the case looks polished to me. And why should somebody have changed the bezel in the past, if not because of its bad condition? (Of course it is possible, that the DON was perfect and the owner sold and replaced it.)

Speedmaster101 suggests $7500usd for a good condition 145.012-67 (Head only) and yours also has the bracelet and end links, so assuming that the movement number matches the extract (Pic is blurry, but looks like it a 24xxx) then I’d say it should be closer to 8k usd without the DON http://speedmaster101.com/price-chart-2/

A nice bezel will run you $2,500 plus and correct crown will be $500ish. so that should give you an idea

Not all 145.012s had the flat foot crown, so an exmaple which is not particularly early such as this one is fine. Not sure I agree about the 8kUS: if a good one is 7.5k, a good one without a DON should be 5kUS, at least 2.5k for a good DON. Agreed that the dial/hands look very good which could command a premium, but the case doesn't look unpolished, or at least it's very difficult to see from the angle presented in these pictures...

Let's say that if it hasn't sold yet at that price, "the market" thinks that it's not the deal of the century. It's a nice buy if you plan on keeping it.

I suggested 8k as he indicates that it comes with a 1039/516 bracelet & end links which if in good condition would run 2500-3k for the combo,

I would have said 1500$, but fair enough. It depends if you like the watch or not, sometimes missing out on 300$ isn't really worth it

Agreed for bracelet only without authentic 516 end links. Here’s a complete one that’s up now. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.ca/ulk/itm/263522806411 I have no association with the seller in any way, just an example I pulled for reference

I like it. I think the pricing is in the ball park, but am interested in the next update on speedy101.

    What's the case condition like?

Jeez those prices are making me think rather than finding a AML dial and hands for my 145.012-68 I should part it out instead since it seems to be worth more*! What is it with Speedy parts madness?

*To be clear, I wont actually do this!

Do it and you’ll be sorry some day.

How many 145.012-68’s are out there? Now, if it was a -67, I might have a different answer.

Even if you were waiting for an Extract…and you know already, that your watch, ( OXG ), was originally delivered to the USA……and it is only 59 numbers away from the watch, issued to Apollo 11 pilot, Michael Collins ?

    Still part it out ?
