I'm looking for a nice vintage Ladymatic Christmas present for the boss and ran across this one on eBay that seemed blatantly bogus to my n00b eyes.
The title is 1955 Seamaster/Ladymatic and notes that the sticker on the back states Seamaster and mentions a six slotted screw back and from what I can see it clearly isn't. As well the price is very high for a SS Ladymatic. I would like to know from you experts if my suspicions are correct. Thanks.

I don't see the slotted back, looks like a snapback. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe an error on the lister's part. The watch appears over priced for the limited demand for these.

Generally speaking the market is not as strong for women's Omegas compared to men's (obviously this depends on the model, etc). The asking rice for this example is above the market value of this specific watch, IMO.

Thank you for the input. I guess I should change the tone a bit on my assessment. But when I saw the 'Seamaster' in the title, I thought it might be used as an attention getter and not a cut/paste oversight.

Redial, and I don't think the correct hands, and the price makes my eyes water.

Other than that it's a pretty ladies watch.

Crown looks wrong to me, ask them for a pic with the crown fully pushed in.

It should look a lot like this one.

    Cheers

No point now. The current bid is beyond my price cap.
    Thanks for your help.
