i had trouble, initially, with my decision to have the dark side be my everyday watch.
(still am considering getting a steel and rubber planet ocean)

but, at least for now, i get to see this every time i look at my wrist.

Mine ever hardly leaves my wrist. It's by far the most I've ever paid for a watch and as a consequence, the intention was to keep it for that special occasion, but that seems to be every day.

It's still pretty hard to find, although my local out of London AD (smallish UK chain selling various brands) has another in stock and I don't know how they do it. When I bought mine, even the main London Omega 'boutique' didn't have it. I spent a few days in Paris last week and of three Omega AD's I visited, two of which were Omega owned boutiques, only one had it in stock, another had only one in three months and the last of the trio, one of Omega's own, had yet to receive any.

I was also surprised how many non-Omega AD staff knew and recognised the watch. In particular, the young lady in the IWC booth in Le Bon Marche' actually said to me, 'oh, you have the new Omega, can I have a look'. So off my wrist it came, whilst she gave it the once over and her approval - so much for checking out IWC!

It's not often a watch gets noticed, so I have to confess I enjoyed the attention (how vain is that)!
