Hello Everyone... Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations... having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Remember the CH room is only as good as the collectors that join in.... please post a watch you want to chat about. This thread is live now and will be talking about these during the online event on Clubhouse AT 3 PM EAST COAST TIME on 4/25... on Clubhouse. watch#1 from Rick Who will be next ? Good Hunting Bill
Hi everyone ok here is the watch I will be chatting about it’s about saving a dial and movement after the case was scrapped .... this is what I bought off ebay .... A Audemars Piguet VZASC ( indirect sweep seconds from 9 o'clock drive). I found this photo below as an example of this model with original case in MUCH better condition .. Then I was in the hint for a case that would fit the movement and dial .... after some deep thought ... I came across a case that would work .... .... Good Hunting Bill

Saw this omega Railmaster on Instagram today and loved it! It was on Steviemac Instagram account. His page is amazing! And seeing this on his page shows how diverse omega have been over the years.
I've got reservations... This reference 165.002 also includes the speedy companions, and some other interesting dials. Normally they are seamasters.
This 34mm oyster perpetual use to have this Arab dial before a dial swap on a servive sometime in the 80s
What a stunning dial that was. It’s a shame it was swapped but at the same time, at least your dad is enjoying the piece
That comes together well... That one could go either way IMHO. Really nice combo! I might guess that is from Tissot like that.
I’m bummed I had to leave early but I really enjoyed my time in the group and look forward to the next one! Thank you for creating this space!
