hi everyone Just a FYI . this is still a work in progress..... The Things With Springs Clubhouse room is meant for a Live watch forum experience with a small GTG. We are striving for a collector to collector conversations.. having collectors either email me photo of there watch ( or they can join the forum and reply to this thread ) so we can " chat" about in real time... Just to be clear we dont have to talk about a posted watch ... this is a free flowing room on topics on vintage watches and things around watch collecting ... And at the end of the GTG when everyone leaves the CH room... and the room no longer exist ... This thread will remain as a quasi record of the event and we can later go back and refer to.... Hear you at 4 pm EDT Sunday .... THINGS WITH SPRINGS CH CHAT 03/26/23 Remember the Clubhouse room is only as good as the collectors that join in.... please post a watch, timepiece , clock etc you want to chat about. join the room https://www.clubhouse.com/join/thin...te&utm_campaign=ixuJCwEp72FD8BiqRZsvKg-617094 Be Safe Good Hunting Bill Sohne

Here’s an Omega 2T122 Pocket Watch they I got off eBay for £162. I don’t know what date it is but it is celebrating the Grand Prix prize that Omega won at the Paris Expo in 1900. It is a Silver Pocket Watch but doesn’t have any hallmarks. The blued hands are really nice and the seller sent it in a nice Pocket Watch box. I really like it and think I got quite a good deal for a Silver Watch. Could you give me a date this was made? Was it 1900 or probably later (1920’s?).
Here’s one that I nearly bought that sold for £85. I saw one shown like this by someone in the room last week so nearly bit but it was a bit scratched up for me.

A nice 1964 321 pre-Speedmaster that I’ve been watching for a while. Is it worth £4,999 do you think? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18555981...7_iRCSCSzW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPYPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

This Omega Ranchero from Turkey ending in an hour looks like a Franken job no doubt. Interesting I thought though.
