The westclox is pretty clean and the red second hand I like, the thiel has nice patina weird looking stain on the dial. Super stiff and cheap straps, I understand for the price of the watches. No service history, so a service and straps sometime in the future.

What diameter is the Westclox?
Here's mine, I think its about a 31mm. Possibly a Boys size?
Not sure if it was meant to have a second hand, If so its long gone. Watch runs fine though in need of fine tuning.

...................if it鈥檚 got second markers and a centre pinion.

Shouldn't be too hard to find a suitable replacement though.

Second markers and minute markers are the same thing. If you've noticed dials that don't have central second hands still have those same markers.
A lot of smaller ladies or children's watches don't have minute markers except for the numerals at every 5 min position, or any sort of second hands.

This watch may have had a second hand that was lost when some accident broke the original crystal. The bezel shows damage from some impact that would have damaged the crystal. The present crystal looks to be a fairly recent replacement.
