Is there a thicker bezel variation for the 145.022-69/71 Speedmaster?

I bought a virtually new bezel for my 69st many months back. Today I finally tried to put it on and noticed some differences than the one on my watch. The bezel outer band is visibly thicker before it drops off to the angled edge at the bottom. See photo of one of my old bezel on left compared to the thicker on on the right.

 

Here is another shot of my good 69 bezel currently on the watch and the thicker bezel on top.

 

From the top, the thicker bezel insert is also more matte and silver than my current bezel insert which looks like every one else.

The writings matches perfectly between the bezels with the hooked 7s, flat A, etc.

So what do I have here? I paid good money for a almost perfect unused bezel. But it looks very different than what is on my 69st.

 

Not the same look at the dot on 70.

 

Pls tell me the diff on the dot 70. They look exactly the same to me.

 

Sry one looked it like it was a dot under 70 in the pictures which would be odd.

 

Looks like exactly the same font style, size, positions of the 'dots' etc., as far as I can see. The only explanation I can come up with is change of supplier and/or variances in production tolerances!?
