£1460? I Paid £320 for mine! Was yours part of a full set? I only purchased the watch.
It was NOS. The quartz versions like yours outnumber the autos by about 1000-1.
Yours was a bargain though.

Fits nicely. The hindge in the clasp is so stiff, it feels like a brand new watch.

sure is a fine looking example you got there! I think some interesting model quartz watches will slowly get more desirable among enthusiasts as it's hard not to like 'em!

It’s threads like this, with quality pictures and plenty of happy owners, that swayed me to search out one of these for myself! 24hrs after agreeing a price with a Parisian watch dealer I have it in my hands..

First impressions are generally positive. Cosmetically it’s in very good condition, just missing the lume pip and with a couple of insignificant marks to the lugs. Otherwise excellent and seems to be keeping good time against my Seiko HAQ.

Two issues I’ve noticed though - firstly, there’s one less link than in the sale photos and it does wear quite tightly. Just as well I bought an extra link just in case but I’m still getting back to the seller regarding the missing link (bit cheeky if they whipped it off prior to sale!).

The other thing I noticed is that the screw down crown is ‘wobbly’ when un-screwed. I’m aware that some watch makers (such as Vostok) use a ‘spring’ system for their crowns but I don’t know if that’s the same for this model. More worryingly, it also hardly takes a quarter turn to tighten. I’m used to at least a couple of turns for a 200m dive watch. Any thoughts or suggestions?

gratefully, as always, Mintyjim

I bought one a few years ago that I was planning to give to my dad. He was uninterested in it so I kept it. It gets quite a lot of wrist time because I like it and its easy to put on in the morning on the way out the door as it doesn't t need winding.
