The Speedmaster Racing White Dial (which I have affectionately labeled the White Owl, as it reminds me of one) is another one of those that I had, regretted selling and was fortunate to re-acquire. After I sold it, I bought the black dial, believing that the Liquidmetal bezel was more important to me but quickly realized my mistake. In general, I'm not much into chronographs but I find there's something special about this one. Now that it's back, I have that honeymoon phase feeling all over again.

In between, I also acquired a Diver 300M Great White which is an absolute stunner but not quite the character of the White Owl. It's tempting to keep both but a bit redundant and the previous owner wants to buy it back. It's a tough choice but the White Owl is here to stay for the long run and I'm glad it's back. Here are some pictures, one as I received it and the other after I immediately put it on my favorite strap.

Beautiful watch -- have admired this one for quite a while. Definitely on my shortlist. Congrats on repatriating this one!

Great looking watch. I'm a big fan of the two counters. Dig the strap!

That's what I find so attractive about this watch. 3 subcounters seems overly busy and unbalanced to me, and just about every other white dial, 2-counter chrono does the subdials in either black or blue. This watch hits a perfect balance with 2 subcounters in matching dial color, making them pop with the black border that matches the hands and indices.
