Well, if your aim is to get a Snoopy, then I suppose working with an OB has an advantage after all.
I don't think it is my aim 😁 I HOPE I just bought my last watch 😁

Good comparison! Like Speedys they look the same.

I`ll go for Margot, if you please. I made my decision on some of the scenes in "wolf of wall street".
Yes, those "between lugs" scenes were definitely spectacular..

Only been wearing the white speedy for an hour or so, but it's a beauty! I would still suggest the FIOS or black speedy as an "only" or first speedmaster, but this is a super great 2nd.

I did my pickup from a different person than my SA, since he was on his weekend today. The woman I picked it up from mentioned when I asked about the Snoopy and Meteorite that they are reserved for "established" customers, and she would pass it on to my sales guy that I was interested. She mentioned they are a brand new store, so they are trying to "build" loyal customers.

So i don't know if that implies I could get a Snoopy, but after 1 purchase, seemingly not out of the question.
My OB had a meteorite moonphase in the case. Pretty sure it wasn't just for show. I do think they are about done with 50th Snoopys after 5 years though.

After Omega introduced several Speedmasters not aimed at Moonwatch enthusiasts (e.g. the Speedmaster Super Racing with Spirate technology and the updated Speedmaster Apollo 8), the white-dial Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch finally came out on March 6th, 2024. I use the word “finally” because Omega had already shown it in October 2023 on the wrist of former […]

I have a few vintage SMP and Mk 2, 3 & 4, but that white SMP is gorgeous. I found one like new in box for $6500 but didn't pull the trigger fast enough.

I own both and I wouldn't say better-more like different. I have deep ties to the Apollo program and I remember Apollo 13 so I had to have a Snoopy, which my wife secretly bought for me after I made a single offhand comment about it and which I happen to be wearing right now. The White Dial, on the other hand, speaks to my weakness for light-colored dials. That it is enameled is just a bonus.

I love them both, but will enjoy my Snoopy more when the bracelet arrives.

I'm sure you will. Mine has the 3861 bracelet from my SS and it looks perfect. I'm not so much a fan of that bracelet but it really belongs on the Snoopy.

That should also be sweet. I had an Apollo 11 50th Anniversary bracelet on my Snoopy for a while but when I picked up a mint 1861 Relaunch it went on that. Again, perfection.

So, I own the 35th panda, the Snoopy and the white one. All three fantastic! I couldn't say which is the best of the three. The white should be a regular production, even if at the moment, at least in Italy, it can still only be purchased in boutiques. The Snoopy, even if it is not a Limited Edition, was in fact a very difficult version to purchase. The white has a superlative clarity of the dial, the contrast of the pure white with the contrasting black indexes and hands is wonderful. I repeat, they are all very beautiful. As for the 35th and falling prices, be careful and check the adverts carefully. The one on the FW Shop seems to be without the certificate of authenticity and the instruction booklet, at least that's what it seems when scrolling through the photos of the advert. Being a limited edition, in my opinion these are pieces that should only be purchased if they are truly full! In my opinion, a truly complete panda 35th at 12k cannot be found yet.

Hi I’ve been fortunate enough to purchase a 50th anniversary snoopy. Only tried the snoopy with the blue strap it comes with. I also own a black sapphire sandwich speedmaster with the new tapered bracelet.
I’m struggling to bond with the snoopy when I’ve tried it on the wrist it feels thicker and uneven against on the wrist (I know it’s 1.5mm thicker). I’m hoping the uneven feeling is down to the rigid blue strap.
My question is, if I change to the tapered bracelet on my snoopy will this solve the problem ? Will it feel more like my sapphire sandwich speedmaster ?
I’m now wishing I maybe purchased the new white dial option instead.
Thanks for your help on this.

Absolutely. Take the strap off, use the bracelet, and never look back.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. I’ve got an appointment booked at the end of next week & the boutique have put aside the polished & unpolished link options for me. I love the watch & hoping this works.

I own the classic speedmaster 1861, for some reason when I tried the white speedmaster on the bracelet (latest release) the dial looked dull and too plain without enough black contrast, unlike the white diver 300 that I own or the Daytona Panda which has a better contrast.
On the other hand, the snoopy (both the 45th and 50th editions), are much better looking so my vote goes for the silver snoopy, the latter I recently purchased after trying it in person and i wish it was other way around as I would have saved $$$. However, if I were to have a single speedmaster other than the snoopy, the black version will be my choice !

Have you retained the snoopy on the blue strap ?
Or has that worked for you ?

I hated the strap, and it was fraying at the tip from day one. I got the Speedmaster 57 flatline bracelet and it completely transforms the watch for me. And the warranty new strap is still in the package.

Thanks for your reply. I believe that bracelet required a bit of work to make it fit ?
Nope. Fits the lugs perfectly, and I don't even notice the 1-2mm overhang of the end links. The 3861 bracelet are great, but I have both of those and wanted a flatlink.
