mid 70s under fair skies, just perfect weather for a hike - from the center of the town of Taormina, to the Madonna della Rocca church...some say 300+ steps 😵‍💫 now we must enjoy the view and some drinks 😀

In my part of East Tennessee it was 39 degrees F before dawn. At 11:20 AM its 49 degrees F.
It's expected to reach a high of 59 around 5 PM.
Clear skies.

Miss Annie is loving the cool weather. Her thick skin and bear like coat keep her warm down to 20 degrees or less. warm weather doesn't sit well with her at all. I've kept her inside with the AC on full whenever the temp gets over 85 sometimes brought her in at 80.

She is more active now and broke two of her old steel cables this week. I got her a new cable twice as thick made especially for large dogs.

Temps @ the “base station” of Mt Etna were cool and skies were cloudy, once we reached the higher elevation area open to the public (~2,950m) the skies were clear and temps were surprisingly pleasant..

Do they have Sausage sizzles at polling Stations in your neck of the woods? It's become a real community event out here.. Not too familiar with the intracacies of Canadian politics, (there's enough here to make one vomit) though I did hear the win was minimal..
Not looking forward to summer here.. Drought, Bushfires and a very sluggish economy..
