Once again a completely dry night on which storms, hail, and tornadoes were expected. I swear the weather people just say whatever sounds good at the time.
Winter is over! The birch buds popped a few days ago and now the leaves are the size of squirrel ears. No more frost until the end of the growing season. Up here in Alaska, that's not long so time to get the garden going.
We are having a very hot day today, 68掳F / 20掳C. I live in the town that has the lowest all time high temperature of anywhere in the US including Alaska. The highest recorded temperature is 87掳F/30.5掳C.
