Snapped this while clearing the driveway yesterday. Felt a bit sorry for my neighbor - the plow driver kind of piled on at the end of their driveway...
People chuckled when I put up those really long yellow poles to tell the plow driver where the edge of my lawn is (so he doesn't dig it up yet again!). But the small 3 foot high wooden stakes that the township puts in every year just don't cut it - if you look closely you can just barely see the top of one past the second tall post...
I did clear out the end of his drive for him, and the house next to it. Snow was heavy and a bit wet since it was warmer yesterday, so not something you want to shovel. Even with the snow blower it was a lot of work.
Went to the beach Sunday for a quick visit...
I think Lake Erie is completely frozen over already, so if you wanted to walk about 100 km, you could get to the US over the lake.

After weeks of temps well below freezing, and often below -20C, tomorrow we are supposed to get to +4C and +6 on Thursday, then temps head back down again for the weekend.
