It's started snowing, and the stores are already closed tomorrow. The Beast is ready - tank topped off, fuel additive included. Started it up last month so I won't curse my fool head off tomorrow when the real heavy stuff hits.

What about a generator? Ever need those, there? They aren't very impressive-looking, however 🙁...

Got one of our 2-3 snows of the year in the Little Rock area. Off work and spent the day watching Konga, RoboCop (original), Die Hard and some Harry Potter movie. The pups had fun as well.

What about a generator? Ever need those, there?

We've been considering putting one in the garage as part of the remodel, and running the output to the back of a multi-outlet inside the house where extension cords can be plugged in. Or even one that's strong enough to power the whole service that can hook up to the fuse box directly.

Dogs love snow.... unless their those puny little scruffy mophead looking flat faced lap dogs, that is.

When, and I do mean when, you get to start driving again, put a bag of cat litter in your trunk. It works wonder when you can't get traction on ice. Unused is best!!!!

Not a cloud in the sky here in NC Ohio. We had ours back in '78.

Minnesota has two seasons:

Hockey & Football Season which runs from September to April or May.
Construction Season which runs from April or May to September.

When Hockey & Football Season ends and Construction Season starts depends on how deep the hockey teams run into the playoffs.

We definitely do not miss the "lake effect" snow we enjoyed in Cleveland, OH years ago.
