To quote Jerry Seinfeld, "What's the deal with WATCHCO"?? Are they put together from used or NOS parts? Do some people consider them franken? Why are you considered a heretic (by some) if you like them?
These are watches made with genuine Omega parts. The movements are from donor watches, but the case, hands, and dial are all new parts. Not "new old stock" but just new. These are still being made, so not parts that have been sitting for years as the NOS description would imply. Watchco are certainly not the only people making them - I seem to be assembling at least one a month or so. Sometimes I supply the parts, sometimes people have already bought the parts. I personally have no issues with them if they are correctly identified in a sale. I own and wear one myself... With a custom display back: Cheers, Al
