Sweet looking watch. I suppose the good news is, you now know what you want.

I wouldn't pay that much, unless I were a careless billionaire.

And for sure is a reason.
I know that the divers from Longines from that period(in a made in house supercompressor case) have a small number of movements made by Longines. I think a big number of them are ETA.
The first ones with in house movements are very hard to find and the price is very high. All the collectors want them.
This one has a big problem with the dial...and for this type of watch i think the dial is 80% of his price. For the reason the price is to high.
If the dial was in a good shape...8k was cheap.

Thanks nalexi ! you're right about the dial, I also noticed it, it seems to be a repainting between the 6 and 5.
concerning the movement, I did not new it. Thanks, very interesting. This seller accepted to sell it at 7000... and I said no for the "dial reason"
    cheers

Don't worry. You'll find the watch of your dreams. Be pacient. We all work very hard for money. :)

One of the best remakes IMHO. So many remakes miss the mark these days, but this one is gorgeous.
