Recently I purschased my first Omega on the fly after over of a year of searching. I was suspicious at first and regretted bidding on it thinking something was off. So less than an hour after the auction I posted a thread on here. I thought it strange since it coming from Pakistan, being a 1980s Quartz still working, and finding very little information on besides two EBay auctions. On Monday I got it. Today I took it my local watchmaker and is 100% sure it is real and all original excluding strap! Here are some pictures! First up pictures at watchmaker of movement and case back next a quick wrist shot I will be changing the strap no doubt.



Suggestions on straps if you can any would be helpful I was thinking a cheesy gold vintage shark mesh or thin black leather

 

I suggest some more wrist shots in the daylight! Let that watch shine.

On a more serious note I think it would look sharp on a thin gold mesh or a brown leather band. Maybe snag something that compliments the texture. Literally thousands of straps out there - don't settle. Pay a few bucks and get something you like.

Looks good! If you want to dress it down a little I'd go with a black suede strap with minimal stitching (I'm really digging suede straps lately)

And to dress it up something maybe like a glossy black alligator or just black padded with white stitching. The dial has a lot of character that a busy strap could detract from.
