Is the push button to activate the clasp adjustment stiff to depress when new? And does it become easier to depress after it's been used a bit?

a bit, I can't tell if it got softer or if I just got used to it, but I did think it was a bit stiff when new

I replaced my original clasp with the Omega pushbutton clasp. The fit is just slightly different now. With the new pushbutton clasp installed, I need a half link to add to the bracelet now to get a perfect fit again. Does Omega make a half link for the Speedy Pro 3861 bracelet?

isn't the quick adjust that half links worth?

To be clear, the original 2021 3861 clasp (non-push button) is a slight different fit in mm than the new push-button clasp. After installing the new push-button clasp, it is a bit tighter in the loosest setting.

Each full link is about 4.5 mm and the clasp offers about 2.3mm of on the fly adjust.

Wondering if Omega offers a half link option instead of a full link to dial in the best possible fit.

The adjustable clasp is longer than the non adjustable, so the fit will vary with it versus before. Still think it is a great improvement to the bracelet versus the pin adjustment of the old one.

Agree it's an improvement. But does Omega make a half link? The fit is not quite the same with the new clasp.

Omega does not make a half link to my knowledge. And the original 3861 clasp was a push button clasp, just like the latest one, it just didn't have the quick adjust feature of the new one.

Unfortunate that they don't make a half link. My use of "push button" for the new clasp was in reference the quick adjust capability.

I suspected that is what you were referring to but a 'push button clasp' normally refers to how you release the clasp.

They don't (the links are pretty small right now so unlikely to happen); Uncle Seiko is working on a 1.25 link if not mistaken

I was under the impression it was just one point....a 2.3 mm (half link) adjustment.
2mm seems right to me, I have two 2024s.

Uncle now has a 1.5 link available, said they couldn't make a half link because of small size, so replace a full link with a 1.5 link and you are good to go. Available in both brushed and polished versions, 29 bucks.

Hi,
Firstly thank you all for being here and discuss about all this because I have some questions 😀
I just bought a brand new Omega Speedmaster Professional from late August 2025 (ref: 310.30.42.50.01.002) and I have troubles with the bracelet and cannot find the perfect fit until now...
I have been several time to my Omega AD and we have tried approximately all the possible settings with the links (1 or 2 more at twelve o'clock, more at 6 o'clock, ...) but it always bend to the 12 o'clock side...
The last settings I have now (because I didn't want to sleep in my AD!! 😆) is 5 removable links at 12 and 1 at 6 with the extension opened; this is the most confort confortable configuration I have managed to get, the watch is still bending a bit on the 12 o'clock side but it's acceptable... the only issue is a small gap under my wrist on the side where there are the 5 links (balance is clearly not perfect but the clasp is at the middle under my wrist too in this config).
My wrist is around 6.7 inches (17 cm).

Did you guys encountered a similar problem with this new bracelet?
I don't want to go back to the AD once more but want to try some alternatives myself; could you please confirm the best tools to use? I have bought the Wiha 1.8mm but it seems to be the exact size of the screw and I'm afraid to damage the sides...
The Bergeon 30081-160 (1,60mm) seems to be a better option probably? Or please provide the best tool options to avoid any damage?
Thank you all for your help/support

Thanks for the information; I will check it but I’m not sure I can find this in France 🇫🇷 (I’m french).
And regarding the links balance on my bracelet? Do you own this Speedy model too?

I use a 160 driver myself, making sure the driver has been sized to the screw head though is very important for not marring the screw head. If the driver blade is too narrow then the force will be concentrated only at the outer edges and only on one side of the screw slot, this is the main reason you see screw slots taking on a sort of hour glass shape in watch bracelets, where someone has used an appropriate diameter driver but it was not properly sized to the screw.
Here is a photo of a 160 blade I made to fit a speedmaster bracelet next to a fresh one from bergeon or horotec(I forget which, but that isnt important)

Thank you very much.
And there is no way to get an adapted screwdriver directly from Omega (with a clear reference number as for the other parts of the watch)?

its very standard procedure to regrind your screwdrivers for a watchmaker so for the most part no. My current workplace does have some driver blades that come sized to particular screws that we use all the time, so I wouldn't be too surprised if Omega does something similar for their service centers and boutiques but I would imagine they are quite hard to buy otherwise.
