Thanks for the honest feedback @marturx . It's nice to see everybody loves that "old" dial so much.
I feel a bit like cursing in church although:
- I kept the old dial, no way I would ever destroy it (ruining old dials is something completely else IMHO)
- I had the opportunity to try it out with a NOS dial which (personal taste of course) is also very nice and for now I definitely will wear it this way. If you can't stand it, I'm afraid you'll have to look the other way ;-)

About the value, I bought this one for 150 euro, the other one was for sale for quite some time for 200 euro and nobody took the leap to buy it (pictures were bad but the watch was ok). If everybody is loving this watch so much, then why is the value so low? (it's an open question)
The linen, immediately different price range. I paid 500 euro.
(The linen you could not find on the internet, the one discussed here was easily found on the net. But I guess Lemania Cal 3xxx's interest stays low)

BTW: you don't have to convince me for buying Lemania Cal 3xxx's, they're the heart of my collection. They're not COSC, but I can assure you: they keep time very well. Besides, their size (35mm) is perfect as a daily beater.
I will take that low valued watch of your hand for 200eur any day 👍

I’m in the minority with the OP- I appreciate the old dial but I do love it with the fresh dial- specifically because it is an old stock factory dial- not a redial.

What's also funny: the title of this thread is in a way a bit of clickbait.
The discussion I was waiting for based on the title was: "What the heck! That's not the rarest Lemania, that's his one!" 😀

I expect there's still a lot of other rare Lemania's out there (think Supervisor quantities and less)

800 originally, then all returned to stores and hammered by the QM except some that escaped their fate.

The Original Radium dial looked very good to me.
Gotta say.. I’d own the original dial in a heartbeat.

I can only find evidence of 5 other … 4 of which have tropical registers…one didn’t go brown…and 1 has white registers … with a Lemania 2520 (or Omega 321). There is no ways I am gonna switch anything out!

It looks like it's on an old Forstner KomFit, or a JB Champion mesh bracelet, depending on the era.

It might be the pic tricking my eye but it was the loose fit twixt the lugs that prompted my "switch out" comment.

I get that you kept the original dial, but basically if you were to sell this now someone would need to have the hands relumed again to match. That watch was utter perfection before, other than needing to have the lollypop relumed. Glad you are happy with it...

I'm in the minority as well. It's your watch and if you like the "refreshed" look, as it's your wrist it will be on and your aesthetics it has to satisfy, then it's entirely your choice. It's not like you have painted a mustache on the Mona Lisa 🙄
