Those poor women did not enjoy in the end. I like the idea of radium on the dial, but the means to apply it safely was not around back then. And now that we have Superluminova, radium is irrelevant. But I would still like to get a vintage with a radium dial.

 

The poor girls even developped specific issues with their tongues, as they kept licking the tip of the pencils to keep them sharp to do the job.
