Unfortunately no pics, but in no particular order here are things that clutter our house:
- vinyl records 1000+
- Contax rangefinder cameras and lenses
- all other camera systems
- fountain pens ( I do repair them myself)
- tube amplifiers (partially home made)

Probably forgot something.

I was damned sure your favourite recording is Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, Martinon & VPO, now I think I see the proof馃榾

US licence plates with my initials on. Genuine used plates, not vanities. It all started when I was a kid on holiday to Orlando and my dad found a plate (the Florida one pictured) in a novelties shop and was amazed it had my initials on. Since then whenever I find a stash of plates in a shop or flea market I always have to flick through them just in case. And eBay, of course. 27 states and counting...
Sorry for the blurry photo but I can't take a better one at the moment as I still haven't unpacked them all since moving house.
Good luck nabbing one from WYO - I believe only one county has needed to use letters outside of vanity plates 馃榾

I think the only thing I collect other then watches has got to be money. I should gather what I have saved up currently, but I always try to collect a little bit of currency from every country I visit.

Currently have:

Yen
Euro
Afghani
Peso
us-duh!

My wife and I collect decks of cards and shot glasses from every state we visit and every country we visit.

Actually It is SXL2114 Tchaikovsky piano concerto #1.
I once ordered a this record and got a sxl2114 sleeve with a slx2004 record. The sleazy dealer did not want to rectify the mix up. So I was always and still are on the hunt for a sxl2004 sleeve. Somehow that stuck as amoniker that not many people recognize.

Nice story to your nickname then, even though personally awkward with that sleeve/record mixup 馃榾
I used to have hundreds of them, all you actually need if you like classical music, these recordings from and artist are absolutely unrivaled ( besides some rca, emi or mercury ).

I whole heartedly agree. Some artists on other labels, but you are essentially set with the Decca catalogue.
What happened to your pot records?

Long story, sold all my records 8 years ago after more than 20 years. But I am fine with that, was a straight forward decision after searching a certain jazz record for 3 years without success and the first really competitiv ( vs. top notch turntables ) d/a converters appeard on the market. I made the switch from analog to digital, bought the cd for 8 euro, had sort of regained easy access to the music I want. This is the short version 馃榾

Sounds very reasonable. Most important to listen to and enjoy music rather than being ideologically stuck.
Ever since having the kids the "big stereo rig" is collecting dust, only to play once in awhile. 馃槻

Am not especially active with it, but I have developed a pretty good sea/beach glass collection over the years. It's a fun parent and child activity to scour the lake shores for them. Don't know what I will do with all the pieces, perhaps will make a nice window mosaic in the future.

Pics below are from the internet. The bottom figure provides a decent sense of the rarity of different colours - colours in the top row tend to be the rarest. There are websites that claim the western European coast gets some of the best examples as a result of prevailing currents.

Yeah, I think Delaware is the same; all numbers. And probably some lower-populated states may not have got round to "P" yet. So probably never a 50 state collection, but it's still fun looking.

I started buying mugs from countries that I visited but got peed off everytime they broke so now we buy fridge magnets, which are cheap and easy to transport. I always want to buy more than one but the boss has put her foot down.

I've just stuck a small group of LRB's into the local auction house. All are Consantine I & II, various reverses (vota, falling horseman, standard, victory etc) as well as that big Ionian bronze I've spent the last month cleaning. If there's something you're missing that you want, just drop me a PM and I'll see what I have.

Old master prints.

You might like these six prints by Carl Gustav Amling that I have. The story is that after my grandparents married in 1934, they went to an art dealer in Berlin looking for modest things with which to decorate their home. Fast forward to 1995, when I moved into Grampa's house after he moved into assisted living and found these in a closet. I hung a few on my wall but the frames were in really bad shape. Fast forward again to 2013 when I had them all archivally reframed.
