The Other Masters

Hello Everyone,

Those of you reading this are most likely familiar with the Seamaster, Railmaster & Speedmaster range of watches from Omega.

Here are some other masters from other watch brands that were most likely trying to compete or offer a cheaper alternative.
Apologies for that bad pics, they were taken a long time ago.

Titoni Airmaster

This came with a 25 jewel ETA 2783 movement.


This is a redial with an eta 2752



Titoni also had a Cosmo King, not my watch, pic off the net.


and a Space King, which looks very similar to the Pagol brand that was popular in South East Asia. not my watch, pic off the net.



Octo also used eta movements, this is the Misslemaster. a lovely watch, looks like a rolex from a distance.


And, the Lakemaster, with original coffin link bracelet.

Thanks for showing these. "Missilemaster" is rather disturbing - who were the target clientele for those??

Ha, ha, My guess is it was probably launched during the space race. With sputnik, Wernher von Braun's ever larger rockets & the Cuban missle crisis.. it was a part of mainstream culture.

Great thread idea! So one that must not be missing here is a Moonmaster. While it might have been obvious to launch (pun intended) such a model by Omega, it stems from Rodania instead. And bears its insignia proudly on the front and the back.
