We expect to be driving from Amsterdam to Nice this summer.....would you think it worthwhile to include an extra day on the journey for a visit to the museum ? Any opinions would be appreciated....thanks.
That's like asking a bunch of alcoholics if they think you should stop at a bar. Of course you should visit the Omega Museum!
A joint event like this is aways conducive to the much coveted , " Oh Honey why don't you just buy it"
don`t stop !!!!!! avoid under all circumstances !!!!!!! this visit will cost you in the future. a lot. and if you must go, go on a sunday. it`s closed. if you ask again, you will hear horror stories from omeganisti about the never ending story....ruined marriages because of uncontrolled spending. career problems because of lack of concentration due to ebay auctions ending during working hours..... go the other way. visit greece...... kind regards. achim
Well they don't sell anything there (other than perfume and goodies/books) so these warnings seem a bit excessive ;-) But yes, by all means, stop there for a couple (or more) of hours and if you have some time the museum in La Chaux de Fonds is worth it too, about a 45' drive up the valley.
