But seriously, my brothers and I had similar issues with this model 25 years ago, so I picked up a stars worth.
I shudder at some of these paint jobs! They need to be stripped down and repainted, and that unpainted one is prime for probably a great Jade Falcon desert camo look.
Oh, and just for you, a proper Mad Cat (Mk II) 😉
I haven’t a clue what you guys are into, but I must say it looks fun!
31st century mechanized warfare. Battletech was almost on the fringe even at your average gaming shop, and it's no surprise you haven't heard of it.
I bet you'd find some of the story interesting though, some of it was great.
A 31st century version of D&D? I never played much of that but I had a few friends that did. I was always in the hayfield, herding wandering cows, cleaning chicken houses, and fishing and hunting. When I was inside, I was reading or sharpening knives or cleaning weapons. I wouldn’t trade that time, but the painting of characters and playing a strategic game other than chess sounds like a cool evening for sure.
Rocket Men was also the title of Homer Hickum's book
Dang near 9 months since we’ve hung out and had a post here. Time to herd the cats (cue the cat memes) and gather back to catch up.
I’ve got 18 chicks in my house at the moment and my wife loves it. Living the dream 😜
I hope you look after them - they look pretty vulnerable…
They’ll stay indoors ( with supervised field trips outdoors) until 6 weeks. The ones pictured are Marans, a hearty and colorful French breed.

They're so cute!
My kid's class raised chickens last year and they went home with different families over the weekends. When they stayed at our place, we had them sleep in our room with us. Somehow, hearing their little chirps all night gave us most restful and cheerful sleep.
I wish we had a big enough yard to put in a coop so we could have fresh eggs.
A small coop takes up just a little space. This one is 80x24x48 (inches) and will hold up to 4 hens. Jump in and have some joy and fresh eggs!
Congrats on the new urban farmer life. Chickens are very fun.
Using that picture of a coop as an example, that door wondow needs wire. I lost about 4 flocks over 10 years to rats, possums and raccoons, that I know of. Some of the more obvious entry points were smal 2 inch openings between the roof and walls. I could see dirty foot prints on the wall. Pretty much every thing likes eating chickens. Any holes will lead to crying children in the morning.
