it’s big but nice thought I like the blue one the most but maybe gonna love the big one more

You got to be kidding me. As far as I can see there are now 6 of these known on the web. 38mm for that time was insane. Enjoy! And thnx for posting!

I like dresswatches more and more so am happy to add it to my collection 😁

Only don't like the fact that it is only delivered to Asia and not Europe etc...

What do you mean exactly? A lot of omega's were especially made for asia.

I have nothing against Asia! I don't mean it that way ... but somehow I like it when it is (also) delivered in Europe (where I live). Especially when I request an Extract of the Archives, I like it when it says a European country.

Funny. I like it when I know a watch travelled the world to end up on my wrist. For example: jumbo connies from Japan..

It would be interesting to look into why Omega decided to market gigantic watches (for that time) in Japan and Singapore specifically. There must be promotional material and catalogs from that era. Everyone notes the anomaly of selling big watches in two countries where compactness was and is the prevailing aesthetic. Are there other "jumbo" watch brands that were targeted to Japan and Singapore in the late 1950s?

Hey. That's 7! But not with a original dial I'm afraid. Thnx for posting!
Yeah that dial just doesn’t match the look of the ones posted but it still looks nice to me. No purchase plans though as sourcing an appropriate dial would require way more time than I’m able to commit.

Yes. I think sourcing a original dial would be nearly impossible.

Hey the case looks oddly familiar to the Railmaster 2914...any chance it’s the same case? Or is the 2976 thinner?

A relation to the 2976 is apparently the 2867. It has sthe same size and design but comes with a date and cal. 503. Doesn't appear in the database either. Here's an example:

Very cool piece, also love the fact that the dial and hands have no lumen, makes it more dressier.
What’s the lug size on one of those? This should look extremely well on a nice BOR.

Lug size is 19mm. So you would need a BOR for a 168.010, maybe a 1068 with 527 end links. I've got one, havent tried it on yet.

Hi there @aprax just wondering if you ever tried your Jumbo out on the BoR? I'd be keen to see a pic if you did 😀

Just tried it. The 527 end links are not a good fit because the lugs of the 168.010 are much shorter.
