Hey guys,

As much as I looked I could not find a thread about this great (and somewhat odd) line of Speedmasters. There are many discussions on certain models and references but no generic thread - at least I could not find any.

So let's see those Mark Speedies. Here is my trio;

Funnily enough, both my Mark II and Mark III were delivered in November...both in 1973. So exactly 45 years to the day soon 馃榾

Mark II Racing delivered to Germany on 20.11.1973
Mark III delivered to Switzerland on 14.11.1973
MarK IV is unopened, still sealed so no serial number

You're holding a wonderful slice of history - very nice!

This was an eBay purchase a while ago - when it arrived I was delighted to see that it had its original finish. The second image shows just how big the depth of the case is.

I'm new to the forum this is my first post.
The speedy was always my grail watch. Bought the 1861 in 2020.
I specifically wanted the discontinued moonwatch because of the movement.
Hesalite of course .

2023 was the year for a vintage Speedy, I wanted one with a date and an automatic movement.
I always liked the mark 4 it is a Speedmaster and it looks totally different than the Moonwatch.
Last week was the day I added my 2nd Speedmaster! I feel very blessed[ to have the opportunity to spend my money on watches. Which wasn't always the case

My Mark II also my first Omega. I developed a small obsession with 60s/70s racing dials and couldn鈥檛 let this pass me by.

I don鈥檛 know its history. The case shows wear but the dial and crystal are in great shape and it runs great which makes me think it was serviced without polishing sometime before I acquired it. I prefer it this way and can wear it freely without worrying about dinging it.
