Congratulations on a great find! It’s stories like these that give us all hope while digging through piles of old dead quartz Michael Kors watches.

Did you see the recent post about the guy finding an old Seamaster Chronograph (I believe it was a 105.005) in a toolbox in an abandoned house? Both are great watches and great stories, but for me free just pips it.... either way, I'm MASSIVELY jealous of both discoveries! Lol.
See it as motivation it is still possible the Connie in the thread was purchased last year. Yeah, that’s a near flawless 18k hidden crown piepan crosshair connie 😀

Thank you I decided to get a speedy tuesday buckle for it as I probably wont find a 18mm inside 1960s buckle anytime soon.

Hah, yes, I did that too. And browsing through ebay last year I found an Enicar SuperDive in a £36 lot - unfortunately the seller had earlier sold a watch not describing it wasn’t running so my payment went on hold on her account and when it finally cleared 21 days later all of a sudden their van with the watches had been stolen!

Finally able to wear it after receiving a speedy tuesday buckle for the watch. Looks very good imo and I’m very happy! Decided on this in able to wear it instead of looking another couple of years for the buckle. If you do have, see or hear of an 18mm inside original 1960’s buckle do let me know 😀
