I’m waiting patiently for someone else to mention Canada's greatest contribution to the known world. No reason to Rush though.
Can we take Gordon Lightfoot off the table?

And the guitarist whom even Chet Atkinson admired. The late Lenny Breau, who gave lessons to another Canadian guitarist, Randy Bachman.

The only #1 hit that Geddy ever had was this song...

Hey, 10 bucks is 10 bucks...

It's OK, thanks for the reinforcement. Hey, no-one has suggested Glenn Gould yet, you wanna try that? (Maybe too "marmite"??)

I was considering joining this thread earlier to make a comment about not needing to speak French in Montreal because it's so worldwide cosmopolitan and English is the lingua-franca (ah-hem!). But then I realised it was over fifty years ago that I was working there and things may have changed. Great city though, GO CANADA 👍

Looking back, it's remarkable how my own life became entwined with our dear neighbour to the north. For nearly twenty years I worked for a company that had equal-sized offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Calgary, Alberta. After the first NAFTA agreement went into effect I was able pass back and forth between offices seamlessly, and ended up accumulating many months as a guest resident of Calgary. Then, later in life one of our daughters (and a lot of our money) went to McGill University in Montreal, allowing us to get to know an entirely different part of the country, and an entirely different culture. We feel richly blessed by our experiences in Canada.
As a Calgarian here, who buys my leather craft products from Utah, I appreciate hearing this.

And all the extremely polite snowbirds that vacation in central Florida……. Plus the amazing hockey players that make the Lightning win!!!

Glad to hear that, I had honestly heard only that Canadian snowbirds in Florida are cheap tippers.
What......No watches ??
But of course they have watches ....

I’ve never heard of this brand, I thought I was looking at Marathon watches. I’ll,have to look up that company.

Not much talk about hockey yet. Here's Mario the Magnificient making a mess of 5 times Norris Trophy winner (NHL's best defenceman) Raymond Bourque.

Starbucks? Never heard of it! ::rimshot::
Amusingly Starbucks thought they could muscle in on the coffee market here in Australia......they left with their tail between their legs!
I'm not a coffee drinker but even I know that Oz has a very large and educated coffee market, here everyone and his dog are very discerning about coffee, no one here is going to fall for that shit.
