Yeah sure he was. But they will their due Dillingen es in the meanwhile. As per the lume that @SgWatchBaron mentions, I also think it looks dubious. Usually the original lume is kind of dried and shrinked and therefore lower than the dial surface. Here we have plots standing out and the texture also looks off for me.

He must have a high and hidden reserve price, no?

Watch is gone now, but just for the record, there is no facility to set a reserve on eBay in Australia - a $1 start is a $1 finish if no one bids.

Yes that's the way the original luminous should be! Dried, shrinked and below the dial surface. Not thick and plasticky looking!

To me, the amazing thing is that overall this watch dial looks pretty damn good for a fake. Yes, bezel font off, dial number font off, lume maybe too raised. But overall, this dial would fool 95% of the folks who look at it. Downright scary!

It looked too good! That is a tell tale sign in my book.

Well, when we see what these sell for, I'm more amazed that it's still relatively easy to tell the good from the bad ones. There is so much money in it, so people can try and spend some time to create a fake...

That's brutal.
