Larry unfortunately the audio I have does not include additional songs on the rooftop. I’m hearing that is included in this series. Did you hear anything about that. I know it’s not until the last episode but the rooftop show really was something else seeing them together like that. Even with then ongoing tension and getting sick of living in a fishbowl when they made music not many bands come together like they did. They just knew each other’s style so well.
You get more concert footage is what I’ve heard. I’ve not seen part 3.

I finished all 3 parts the other night and enjoyed the majority of it, although I felt like it painted Paul as the serious musician while John just wanted to goof around. That may have been how it actually was, but it also could have been an editorial decision. Peter Jackson was on Colbert last week (or the week before, can't recall) and they talked about how you want to shout the words to 'Get Back' at the screen as they're trying to figure it out.

Finished episode 2. So wonderful to see these background scenes and truly incredible seeing Paul create Get back from absolutely nothing. When George left the band temporarily, and Paul says "and then there were two" with teary eyes, I almost cried myself. Wonderful documentary.

I just finished part 3. I thought the process was fascinating.
Part 1: only Paul is engaged in the production. John is completely disengaged, so Paul has to lead and make arrangements which pisses off George. George leaves the band.
Part 2: John realized the bands falling apart, so takes the leadership role. they agree to skip the TV show and George returns. What follows is the very best part: creative music-making process. The way John & Paul play off each other, with George trying to make contributions.
Part 3: revolves around the roof top show. It’s significant that George tells John, after Paul leaves for the night, that he wants to make a solo album.

Great all round series, but part 2 is the best by far.

Is there a part where John beats Yoko?

That was something else that came up in the Jackson-Colbert interview. Jackson asked McCartney if he knew about that, to which Paul admitted he'd never heard that and speculated that yes, the Beatles might have stayed together if they had agreed on the freedom to do their solo projects.

Interesting my buddy is a big tech guy he’s into all that pirate video stuff I have no clue how all that works but these days people who take the time to learn don’t pay for any music, video, movie etc. So he knows I’m a big Beatle fan into the get back series he dropped a SD card and this USB in my hand in my hand. I will not say this these contain the series of course but I have been anxiously awaiting there availability for purchase as to me watching how the beatles put songs together was amazing. Hypothetically speaking the entire series can fit on a 16gb sd card. I did not know that. Darn I remember as a kid being excited when the Beatles stuff was released on CD. Edit: I do not condone nor support piracy but the spirit is willing, unfortunately the flesh is weak and when offered anything that Is (hypothetically) Beatle related I would in such a hypothetical situation have a hard time saying no.

I can't quite tell for certain, but it looks like Michael Lindsay-Hogg is wearing a Cartier Crash.
If I have to watch the whole thing over again in order to get a better look, I will.

Cheers,
