Cut and paste replies from wikipedia though shouldn't count in that category!

Okay, it's been a couple of months since your posting on this watch, and I found myself discovering the thread - after a bit of cross bidding by Tire Comedon and myself over a Medicus. So my question today, cher Oncle Buck, is: did the blinking watch arrive and what's it look like?
Enclose herein a quick snap of the Medicus 605 that Tire and I both bid on. Crystal is thick and scratched and about to be changed, so dial is a wee bit better than it looks here.

Sorry, Le Hab, I posted the follow up in a new thread
http://omegaforums.net/threads/art-deco-followup-the-doctor-is-in-the-house.7142/

Your new addition is quite beautiful let me know what you do for service, especially if you do any dial cleaning.
I am too chicken, just now considering popping the caseback off !
Where did you source a crystal?

I have to admit that I am going to fit a standard Sternkreuz 'N' for now, until I get a better idea. I've popped the back off on mine, all is well, but it needs a service.

Just avoid trying any cleaning of the dial, it would damage more than improve it.

My CK 605 (dial is spotted but still attractive, hour and minute hands are not the right size and probably not original) :

The Crystal you will need for this one :

Happy to leave the dial as it is!
