Sorry to bump a semi-related thread - am I imagining that Omega are releasing a stainless steel model with the 321 movement this year? If so does anyone have any idea when it is being released? Or is this platinum watch the big release?
Great video, the platinum is overpriced deliberately for those that can afford it. Hopefully the "steel" is more realistic . A strait lug case would have been SO kool and really would have taken us back and " off world".
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed the video but really cannot look past the price point. The original watches were "relatively" mass produced, the movements from Lemania even more so, this iteration is entirely counter to this notion. I like the look of the watch but would rather spend the money on a top rate vintage.
What do you think? Will the price hold or will it come to bigger discounts? Allegedly, it should first come in a very small number on the global market. The production does not seem to run so smoothly here either. That even with the high price, the demand can probably not be met.
A very small quantity is produced, I can confirm that. How many per year I do not betray . The price will be high, but it will remain stable without discounts. I am 100% sure!
doesnt look complete to me without the flatlink metal bracelet on. it should be part of the revival design. or, will appear on the steel version.
EDIT: I should have started off by saying that I really enjoyed the video - nicely done, sir Damn you two were right on the mark... crystal ball?
So this watch has a ceramic bezel rather than the aluminum on the regular speedmaster pro? Nice video and beautiful watch.
Euro 55000.00 and no information about which " Lunar meteorite " exactly was sliced for the subdials... Lunar & Mars meteorites are classified Stone-Achondrites among which the NWA 5000-series and Dar-Al_gani are a few well-known examples... What did they use ?
The 321 was retired when the 861 was introduced. According to this article from Fratello (click me): "Omega did so for two reasons: the movement was more accurate than the caliber 321 that ticked at 18,000vph (instead of 21,600) and it was also cheaper to produce." Hope that helps!
