Some really nice models this year. The black dial Cellini and the Oyster Date 40 have just jumped up my list of wants.

I heard that they had to halt production of the Rainbow bezel Daytonas because the full spectrum of stones could no longer be sourced, are the left overs just being used on these new Pearlmasters?

The key new release is the replacement for the ancient 3135 movement, now with 70 hour power reserve, some new escapement design, and anti-magnetic features.

Agreed, I'm liking it as well. I was always of the same mind about the engraved rehaut until I actually owned a Rolex with one. I find it really is unnoticeable in day to day usage, unless you are specifically looking for it. Of course, my deteriorating eyesight with respect to fine print probably has something to do with that...

I hate Rolex's inanely cumbersome and overly complex website (how's that for redundancy?). It just froze up my iPad.

Its not the glossy corporate websites that freeze up my ipad - its Apple,s constant software upgrades, that make a previously enjoyable and fast ipad almost useless!

I wish i could go back in time as i would have never accepted said updates that promised much, and delivered precious little

I think the blue OP will be mine as soon as I can make it. I love it. I was thinking about an explorer 1 but the proportions are better on this ( for the 39 mm )

The new argyle sweater pattern glacier blue dial on the Day Date looked a bit ordinary initially to me. Now it's ranking with that obnoxious "rolxrolexrolex" jubilee pattern dial for me. Starburst, concentric, pinstriped even but I don't want a platinum watch to have a dial that matches an ugly pair of socks.

On macro pics i tend to agree but im curious as to how it fares in person. After all the wave pattern on the Smp lines also look bad to me in pics, but great in person.

But the winner to me is the OYSTER perpetual new line
