·This fella is up for say on eBay. No bidders at the original start price of £3,100 and now the seller has put the price up. I get the logic and might have been tempted at the original price but the watch has seen some action as the pictures show.
Nonetheless, I’ve been on the lookout for a vintage air-king date and in particular a steel/gold combo. I do like this watch. I’m a little unsure as to whether it’s been rubbed too much on the flanks. I think it’s right but I don’t mind confessing that my knowledge of Rolex is still very basic and I would not know if there’s anything glaringly wrong with this. I’d appreciate any advice on that front.
I’m not going to bid at this price but, but if it is honest, I was thinking of offering something like £2,900.
Do you think that’s too much for a watch in this condition or fair?
