I was walking around at work today and noticed some discomfort in my left shoe. Thinking it was a stone, I took off my shoe and shook it. Out dropped a 20mm spring bar…

One day. I was changing straps yesterday, lost one and thought no more of it. Just reached into the box of spare spring bars… 😉

I was in a store recently, as usual, with a watch on each wrist. The clerk asked me why I wore a watch on each wrist. I feigned bewilderment, and told her that I thought everybody wore two watches! Actually, I had a watch in my pocket, as well.😀

Given the number of barrel arbors, clutch wheels, canon pinions, various wheels, springs and screws that I've sent flying through space, now I'm wondering how many ended up in a shoe, and I shook them out thinking they were tiny stones. Clever idea for a thread.
