Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone could tell me anythijg about my deville? I.e what model is it? What year was it made? Does it have any value?

And ? What did your own research tell you ? Let us know.

Im new to quartz/vintage and I've not turned anything up from my own research hence I'm asking the question here.

Would be better if you show a pic from the movement and the writings on the caseback, if it is a quartz can be a 1342 from the early 80's, but theres is no way to know if you cant see the movement

Got value to you. Not very collectable to many. Automatic and manual (mechanical watches) are more sought after.

Running a razor blade carefully around the edge and gently prying should get the case back off.

Also if your not confident don’t do it, you will scratch the watch and lower the value

Yes, you will need a switchblade to open, just a little pressure should open easily, if you are insecure about, take it to a watchmaker or someone who have experience
