If you don't want to remove the bezel, try using the sharp corners of paper to push it out. It's an old trick that's commonly used for the Speedmaster hesalite crystals with gunk stuck between the bezel and glass, but should also apply here. Of course, wait until the watch is dry if you just tried rinsing it out with water.
I think @Meme-Dweller might have learnt this trick from the constipated bookkeeper.
