Is this for real? Its a joke either way, but obsolete after 7 years?!? Sustainable?

Got a new PC at work, I had it for 6 years and now it was broken, I was told that I should have goten a new one after three years. When I changed the battery settings the god damn thing told me that I choose less environmentally setting.

Yes, it's real.

Not funny, but this is the response to every wiseass who asks why they need a mechanical watch to tell time when they can just look at a smart watch or phone. Ask me again in ten, twenty or thirty years.

Reminds me of a mistake made by an engraver who engraved a lighter for a plumbing contractor for presentation to one of his plumbers named LOUIE. The lighter came back engraved LOVIE!
