Patrick wanders into a Dublin pub and orders 3 pints of Guiness. Taking a seat, he takes a sip from each glass in order. The 3 pints are drunk, one sip from each glass, in turn. This strange method of drinking attracts the attention of the barman. When Pat returns to the bar for another round, the barman asks the obvious question. Pat replies, "Well, I've got two brothers. One is in America, one is in Australia. Before they left we pledged that, if we were having a drink, we'd always have a drink for each other." The barman replies, "What a great way to remember your brothers! Champion idea!" Pat becomes a regular in the bar and, over a period of months, his habit and the reason for it, becomes know to all the other regulars. One day, Pat walks in and orders just two pints of Guiness. He walks over to his regular table and starts to take a sip from each one. The barman, trying to be a little sensitive to Pat's situation, approaches him and says, "Oh, Pat. Which brother...?" Pat looks up at the barman & says, "Oh no. It's not me brothers. Me wife joined a teetotal religious sect and I'm off the grog. But that doesn't mean my brother's can't have one".
