After a very thorough examination, the doctor said to him, "Sam, we need to talk about your weight."

One time I was driving home after a dinner out and I got pulled over by the police.

he came up to the car and said “Sir have you been drinking tonight.?”
I said “I did pretty good thanks why you ask.? “

the officer said, “sir, when you took that corner back there the passenger door popped open and your wife went rolling out of the car, fortunately she’s ok.”

I said, “oh thank god officer I thought I went deaf.”

How disappointing... I was really looking forward to reading this article on the evolution of the human hand and
manual manipulation in the early hominids last night....
only to find it was totally spoilt by a lot of ......footnotes ..........

You should never judge a book by it's cover. I had a math book once where the people on the cover were having a really good time, but that book wasn't fun at all...
