Have read about these, but I have never seen one of these installed on a Speedy. Were they just an option on request? This one is described as fitting a 145.0012.

Never seen a Telemeter, telewoman, nor a Teletubby on a Speedmaster.

Cool, my inner OCD geek likes the idea of the telemetric scale, I have seen a fair few of these for sale on the bay and from my understanding most speedie bezels are interchangable.

Wait, with no atmosphere is there any sound in space? If I recall astronomy, there isn't.

Alien is one of my all time favorite films. It still holds up today even though it's 35 years old. Probably because the freighter was dirty and needed maintenance like a work vehicle would, and the workers bitched about their pay. Only Jaws scared me more….. probably because I was at the Shore and only 9 years old when I saw it.

I'm sure you're right that it is likely a very small group....

perhaps about one-half the size of the the group that actually use the Speedmaster's tachymetere for the measurement of speed? :whistling:

If Speedmasters were desired for practical use, well, I'm participating in this forum using a device called an iPhone...
