Since most US import tarrifs were rules illegal, $81billion has been refunded to importers. Has anyone who bought an imported watch when the tarrifs were in force got any money back? I'm in the UK so unaffected but just curious about how it will/should work at a personal level. Or do the companies get to keep it all?

I have not heard of any hobbyist receiving a refund yet.

You can bet that neither UPS nor any of the others will be refunding the customs brokerage fees charged.

Around the time this was going on, I challenged DHL charges for a package. They dropped all charges and sent me the package. That was the only package where I was directly assessed any charges out of a dozen or so packages.

No guessing needed, of course they are keeping it, and keeping the prices up as well.

I guess this will be a windfall for the couriers. They charged the customer, and now they will get the refund. Maybe there will be class action lawsuits at some point so some attorneys can share in the profits.
