Okay. Don't buy it. A 166.041 should be a Genève as far as I know. Also, an automatic De Ville from 1965 would be a Seamaster De Ville (through 1967 when the De Ville became it's own line). There's plenty more, but those two points alone should stop you from buying it. You didn't do so great Jim!
Thanks! That is what I wanted to hear. Tried to look up the Deville line. See when they were made. Probably need to buy the Omega book. Thinking running a WTB ad here might be the best bet. Still lusting after the Constellation. Maybe an eventual goal would be to have each Omega made in 65.
Check out the sales forum for some nice pieces. It won't be too hard to find a decent 1965 Omega around. ps - like your screen name despite having a little fun with it in the previous post.
Just realized I typed an exclamation point instead of a 1. Jimdgreat1 has been an email for years. Should probably change. Looks kind of out of place on a professional resume. Though I get positive remarks.
We aim to please! So, screen name corrected AND saved from a bad purchase. Man Jim, you really got your money's worth - this one thread covered the cost of your membership.
